Question 1

Does applying or getting a job cost me anything?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay us nothing for applying or for getting a job, now or later.

Question 2

Will I be an employee of Wellpack or of the client company?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the job. In agency work your employer is Wellpack and you work on the client company's premises. In direct recruitment you are hired directly by the client company. The employer is always stated in the job ad, and we also tell you in the interview.

Question 3

What happens to my application?

Accepted Answer

We read your application and tell you how we proceed. If the job suits you, we call you and agree on a meeting. You also hear from us when that particular role is not for you.

Question 4

Are these real open jobs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wellpack is a company specialised in recruitment and staffing services, and every ad is a real open job at one of our client companies.

Question 5

How do you handle my data?

Accepted Answer

We handle your application according to our privacy notice. We keep an open application and your Wellpack Connect details for two years, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Question 6

Do I need to speak Finnish?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the role. If the job ad is in English, you can apply and work in English. Many production roles require basic Finnish for safety and teamwork reasons.

Question 7

Do I need a right to work in Finland?

Accepted Answer

You need a valid right to work in Finland before starting. EU and EEA citizens can work without a separate permit. For other situations, see the official guidance at migri.fi.

Question 8

What else do I need before my first payday?

Accepted Answer

A Finnish tax card, which you order from the tax administration at vero.fi. You need it before your first payday, not before applying. Many industrial sites also require an occupational safety card (Työturvallisuuskortti); courses are available in English, and the ad tells you what the role requires.

Question 9

How fast can I start?

Accepted Answer

Many positions have continuous application and are filled as soon as we find the right person, so it pays to apply early. Start dates are agreed together with you and the workplace.
